Well someone lost her first tooth today while playing outside...she is so excited for the tooth fairy to visit her house tonight!

Chinese New Year

So we dropped the ball on Friday...or I did. I totally forgot to cook Chinese food, even though I purchased all the food to cook for our Chinese New Year Party and we talked about it and how it was the year of the Dog. How on earth could I forget to cook the darn food! Well..I totally did. So today we made the egg-rolls and the sauce, chow mien and white rice...and we did it all over again. The kiddos had a good laugh at my expense, I'm used to it..no worries. They even used chopsticks!!!

So we watched a little cartoon and a show on fun facts about Abraham Lincoln. The kiddos seemed to remember quite a few facts which was very impressive, and then we did a little craft...they loved it!
