 Rainy day blues but not for long...we made an indoor water table and the kiddos have gone fishin' ya'll.

Weekly Highlight-Gia

 Our sweet girl Gia is our highlight this week. She is not allowed to be photographed but I assure you she is cute as can be. Gia has been with us for 5 years now and her baby sister has joined us as well. Gia is super smart and loves to do homework, play with barbies, color, paint, craft and listen to stories. She has always loved the nursery rhymes that we tell here at daycare so that's when I knew I should base her book around that. We love you GG girl!

New ABC books

 Our kiddos are loving my newly published ABC book. They love to trace and do homework so this is perfect for them. They also love that I made it for them too...I just love these kiddos!!!

We Love Lucy

 We Love Lucy has published! This short story is about one of our wonderful bus drivers. She is just the sweetest ever and we love her to pieces! Thank you, Miss Lucy, for loving our kiddos!

Weekly Highlight-Bennett

 Bennett was our daycare kiddo for almost 2 years, and his sweet sister Mila for 5 years. We do love his family with all our hearts and miss our sweet Benner-Doo so so much. Bennett loved to dance and we would sing the song "Benny and the Jets" for him and he would boogie away. That's when I knew what the title of his book would be. We love you Benner-Doo!

St. Patrick's gold coin hunt

 Well that silly leprechaun left a bunch of gold coins for my kiddos to find. He's so sneaky! They had so much fun finding them and he also made them all sweet goodie bags to take home. 

Boys love dinosaurs

 There is always the day when my boys wear the same theme shirt...these boys do love dinosaurs!

Pot of Gold

 My kiddos love to color and they love to glue for sure. They had so much fun with this craft!

St. Patrick's Day

 Well nobody got pinched today. All the kiddos were wearing green and we had so much fun. They even ate leprechaun poop, or, white chocolate with green sprinkles...anyhow they loved it!

Weekly Highlight-Elianna

 Elianna was one of our daycare kiddos for about 3 1/2 years until she went to pre-school. She came to us at 6 months old. Her older brother was with us as well. Her family is near and dear to us as we have been friends for many years. Elianna is super smart and super sassy too...and we love her for that. She is much loved by all the kiddos and visits us once a month for the day, which is a big deal to my kiddos as they miss her so much. Elianna had a moment where she was obsessed with monkeys and so I knew I had to include a monkey in her book. She was also our daycare princess so that was always going to be the storyline. We love and miss you Princess Elianna and look forward to our monthly visits.

Fun Friday

 It wouldn't be fun Friday without playdough, PB&J cake and Pie Face game...right? These kiddos are so spoiled!

Our book necklace

 Each time we read a book, the kiddos get a little book charm to add to their necklace. This is such a great incentive I have found to keep them on their sitting circles and to listen to the story...game changer!

My first ABC activity book has published!

 We are finally published and I am so happy, it took a while to put together. Now on to my 123 activity book.

Weekly Highlight-Damien

 Damien is not only a daycare kiddo but he is my grandson as well...and my buddy. Damien is super smart and has been reading since he was 4 years old. We can no longer spell in front of him and he also reads our texts to us as we get them. Damien calls any convenience store a "juice shop", simply because they sell the juice he likes. So that was an easy choice for his book title...color mixing his juice flavors was partly his idea. He loves reading his book and all the others as well and is always giving me ideas for future book ideas and titles...I love you Damien Dontez...to the moon little buddy!!!

Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

 Our sweetie pie Elizabeth has turned the big 5 ya'll. She had a fun trip to Disneyland and came back to a fun filled daycare party. Happy Birthday sweet girl...we love you to pieces!

Student of the month

 Camila is our choice for student of the month for February. She is a super smart and sassy girl and we love her to pieces. Camila loves to do everything especially crafts and has so much fun with her friends. Camila is loved by all and fits right into our daycare family. We love you Camila! Good job momma we are so proud of you.

Weekly highlight-Xavier

 Xavier was one of our daycare kiddos a couple of years ago. He is now in school, but the kiddos still remember him, and we talk about him all the time, especially when we read his book. He is also besties with my grandson Damien. Xavier was always such a sweetheart and was well loved by all daycare kiddos. We miss you like crazy Xavier but are so happy you are loving school!
